CANTON, Mo. — 91ֱ is proud to announce the results of the annual Homecoming Parade Marching Band Competition, held Saturday, Oct. 25 as part of C-SC’s 2025 Homecoming festivities. Bands from across the region showcased their talent and school spirit as they performed along Canton’s Main Street before a lively crowd of alumni, students, and community members.

“Each year, the Homecoming Parade showcases the talent and dedication of our regional marching bands,” Hollinger said. “We are honored to host these students and directors as part of our Homecoming celebration and to celebrate their musical excellence,” said Dr. Trent Hollinger, director of bands and chair, 91ֱ music department.

C-SC Names Distinguished Alumni Honorees /news/2022/c-sc-names-distinguished-alumni-honorees/ Tue, 18 Oct 2022 21:55:08 +0000 /?p=18073 These annual awards recognize distinguished alumni and friends of the College who have made laudable contributions to their various fields, bringing recognition to Culver-Stockton. Five honorees will be inducted at the banquet.

Distinguished Alumni Award recipients are Elaine (Ewell) English ’67 and Dr. Joe Sniezek ’77.

The Outstanding Young Alumni Award recognizes alumni of 20 years or less who have achieved notable success, exceptional achievement, and significant contributions to their profession and community. This year the recipients are Lisa (Button) Bohan ’14, MBA ’18, and Toby O’Cheltree ’07.

The Honorary Wildcat Award will be presented to Chuck W. Scholz, a sincere friend of the College. While Scholz did not attend C-SC, he has demonstrated dedication and continued service to help advance the College to prepare students of promise for a dynamic world.

Homecoming Coronation took place during halftime of the football game where representatives of each class and a member of faculty and staff were crowned. The winners in each category below
were voted on and selected by current C-SC students.

Junior Prince: Ahmed Barrow (Hometown: St. Louis, Missouri)

Homecoming Queen: Grace Preston (Hometown: Taylor Ridge, Illinois)
Faculty and Staff Royalty: Angie Royal (Dean of Students) and Bill Boxdorfer (Director of Student Engagement)

The annual homecoming parade was sponsored by Primo’s, who provided gift certificates to the winning entries. Float winners were based on workmanship, parade theme, and originality. Winners were:
