The NCSA recognizes athletic programs at each division level — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA and the National Junior College Athletic Association — that have successfully utilized NCSA’s platform to draw interest from potential recruits.

“Colleges of the Month” are determined by the total number of NCSA Favorites each program receives over a month. NCSA Favorites are driven by the college-search activity of the more than two million student-athletes within NCSA’s recruiting network. When an NCSA user has favorited a college, it signifies their strong interest in that school and provides a snapshot of which athletic programs are staying active on the NCSA platform by drawing recruiting interest, logging profile views and messaging potential recruits.

This activity also provides insight into how colleges are recruiting right now. The COVID-19 pandemic had led some college recruiting away from events and in-person meets to online activity.

“I have been incredibly impressed with how nimble our coaches have been in navigating the recruiting process during this pandemic,” said Pat Atwell, director of athletics at Culver-Stockton. “This honor from NCSA is a prime example that they will leave no stone unturned when it comes to finding quality student-athletes.”

Culver-Stockton was ranked 26th among all colleges and universities in the NAIA in the NCSA Power Rankings for 2019.
