The exhibition will run from Saturday, Dec. 13–Friday, Feb. 20, 2026, in the Mabee Art Gallery. An opening reception will be held Dec. 13, from 3–4 p.m. in the Mabee Gallery.

Curated by C-SC faculty, the annual Senior Capstone Exhibition highlights each student’s individual creative direction and the culmination of their academic and artistic development.

“Our seniors have grown into confident, curious makers who are unafraid to explore new ideas. Uncharted Paths celebrates their creativity and their courage, with each piece offering a glimpse into where they’ve been and the exciting directions they’re ready to pursue,” said Jennifer Bock-Nelson, C-SC Assistant Professor of Studio Art.

91ֱ Announces Pell Promise Program /news/2021/culver-stockton-college-announces-pell-promise-program/ Tue, 28 Sep 2021 19:05:35 +0000 /?p=12223 C-SC has been supported by the local community since its establishment in 1853, and with the announcement of the Pell Promise Program, the College is proud to invest in area students that will further develop local talent into future leaders.  While the initial program will be rolled out to Lewis and Clark County residents only during the pilot phase, C-SC hopes to expand this program to additional counties throughout the tri-state area very soon. 91ֱ recognizes the immense talent, high achievement, and academic ability in their neighboring school districts and has developed this program to assist in furthering the teaching for those students who are searching for high-quality, personalized education.

The Pell Promise Program is a new program at C-SC and is specifically designed for students who have an unmet need for financial assistance. Assisting students in the local area with additional aid in acquiring access to a Culver-Stockton education excites President Douglas B. Palmer. “The Pell Promise is the first of its kind for small private institutions in our area, and we are proud to lead the way here on “the Hill,” Palmer said. “Through this program, we will meet the needs of students who want and desire a small, private, community-focused college education with the financial support they need to thrive and be successful.”

The Pell Promise Program is provided as a renewable scholarship based on a student’s annual FAFSA. To be eligible, an incoming student must have a 2.75 GPA  and must apply and be accepted to the College by July 1, 2022.  To participate in the program, students must live on-campus to take full advantage of all student-focused success services; therefore, any private awards earned will be applied to the cost of room and board.  91ֱ is also offering this program to current students already enrolled based on the same criteria beginning in fall 2022.

In addition to the financial support, Pell Promise recipients will receive student services, including access to no-cost peer tutoring, success coaches, first-generation programming if applicable, participation in an alumni mentorship program, and increased awareness and accessibility of school resources.

As 91ֱ continues to prepare students of promise for a dynamic world, they are proud to lead the way in removing barriers and support students in their journey for success within a supportive learning community.
