Brown Performing Arts Center.

Hobbs retired in 2017 after 30 years in education, with 24 of them in Missouri school systems. She was an assistant superintendent, a teacher and a principal in various districts. She has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, two master’s degrees and a doctorate in education. She also is certified as a principal mentor by the National Association of Middle School Principals. The topic of her lecture is “Using Your Education to Gain Success.”

Hobbs also will be speaking during an MLK women’s luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17 in the Schwan Family Dining Room.
